Q: I’m a beginner, which classes would be best for me?
A: All of our classes are suitable for all levels! We offer modifications and advancements so that you can choose which option is right for you and your body on that day!
Q: What is included in the 2 Week Teaser Pass?
A: The 2 Week Teaser Pass gives you unlimited access to all of our mat classes, 2 reformer classes and 1 Infrared Sauna session to use within 14 days of your first class!
Q: What is the reformer?
A: The reformer is a Pilates machine that uses springs as resistance which helps you to connect to the right muscle group while also allowing us to increase or decrease the resistance to make the workout more or less challenging. Our Pilates and Circuit/Studio Strength classes are dynamic and athletic based and you are sure to get a great workout!
Q: Do you have to pre register for classes?
A: YES! We do require pre registration for all classes. If a class is full, hop on a waitlist, it does move fast!
Q: What is the late cancellation policy?
A: For Mat classes: 3 hours prior to class beginning. If you cancel less than 3 hours prior, you will be charged a $5 late cancel fee and a class deducted from your membership or loss of class drop in. No shows will be charged a $10 fee.
For Reformer classes: 6 hours prior to class beginning. If you cancel less than 6 hours prior, you will be charged a $10 late cancel fee and a class deducted from your membership or loss of class drop in. No shows will be charged a $15 fee.
Q: Is there a cancellation fee if I need to cancel my membership?
A: No, there are no fees for canceling your membership. We do ask that you email us at thestudiocape@yahoo.com 7 days prior to your membership renewal date so that we can cancel it for you. We do not provide refunds on memberships.
Q: Are grip socks required?
A: No, special grip socks are not required, but they are encouraged if you tend to have sweaty feet! We have our favorite brands available for purchase in the studio.
Q: Can I freeze my membership?
A: Yes! You can freeze your account for a minimum of 4 weeks up to 2 months by emailing hello@thestudiocape.com
*Do note that freezing your account will change your membership renewal date! We only recommend freezing your account if you will be gone 4 weeks or longer.
Q: What if I am running late to class?
A: Traffic, kids, dogs, we get it. Our Late Arrival Policy is 5 minutes. After 5 minutes there will be no admittance into class. This will count as a No Show and you will either lose your session (drop in or session from 4, 8 or 12x/month Membership) and/or be charged a No Show fee (Unlimited Reformer Memberships and for all Mat classes).
